Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has posted a selfie in a sling and thanked those that have helped him through shoulder surgery.

The international has been nursing a long-standing physical ailment since 2023. He suffered a dislocation back then, with said problem never being given the time it required in order to heal properly.

Bellingham has been playing through pain as a result, with a special support strap having to be worn when taking to the field. The 22-year-old has had enough of that, with it revealed at the FIFA Club that he would be heading under the knife.

Said operation has now taken place, with Bellingham starting out on the road to recovery. It has been reported that Bellingham faces three months on the sidelines. He will not be rushed back into action, with it important to avoid any setbacks, with a return to training being mooted for mid-October.

If that were to be the case, with match fitness having to be built from there, then Bellingham will miss the start of La Liga and campaigns with in 2025-26 while also sitting out England’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers and a friendly date with .
