Balotelli has jokingly expressed his ‘dream’ of playing for Real Madrid while he searches for a new club. In an interview with Gazeta Express, the veteran striker, who turns 35 on August 12, revealed he is “looking for a club that will trust me” for the next “two or three years” before fulfilling a promise to retire alongside his brother, Enock. Balotelli has been without a club since his contract with expired in June 2025 after a brief spell where he made just six appearances.
