Cubarsi has confirmed he will leave the club’s La Masia academy residence and will soon begin studying for a university. Speaking to Esports 3 during Barcelona’s pre-season tour in , Cubarsi explained he is set to move into a flat in Barcelona with his sister, aiming for greater independence while staying close to his family. The centre-back, 18, revealed he has taken his university entrance examinations and intends to study Business Administration and Management this September. The highly-rated youngster joins Barcelona’s first team while balancing his football commitments and academic ambitions.

After several years living at La Masia, he is now looking to transition into independent living while remaining focused on his football development.
