In a series of social media posts aimed at this year’s MLS NEXT All-Star Game selections, Philadelphia Union‘s phenom Cavan Sullivan shared insights about representing clubs and regions with pride. He emphasized the importance of cherishing the experience.

Sullivan represents the accelerated development pathway now possible through MLS academies. Since participating in a previous All-Star event, the teenage prodigy has signed the largest Homegrown Player contract in MLS history, made his first MLS start at just 15 years and 280 days old, and continues to demonstrate his exceptional talent with Union II.
The MLS NEXT All-Star Game kicks off on July 21 in Austin, Texas, with free admission for fans. The selected players will experience a full week of programming during MLS All-Star festivities, providing unique development opportunities both on and off the field.
