According to the Daily Star Guardiola called up Reigan Heskey, Ryan McAidoo and Divine Mukasa from the academy to train with the senior players ahead of the club’s crucial Premier League clash against Brighton this weekend. Heskey, son of England icon Emile, will aim to impress Guardiola and follow in his father’s footsteps, making his Premier League debut.
Reigan, who plays for the City U-21 side, scored in the club’s 3-1 win over West Ham last Friday. His elder brother Jaden, 19, is also on City’s books and he featured in the team’s 5-1 win over Oldham Athletic this week.
Among the three young sensations who have been called up to the senior team, only Mukasa had accompanied City for their pre-season tour of Palermo for a pre-season friendly.
The Cityzens will visit Amex Stadium this Sunday as they hope to bounce back in the Premier League with a win over Brighton.
