- Spurs eye blockbuster move for Eze
- Maddison blow forces Tottenham transfer push
- Arsenal interest adds to transfer drama
While Tottenham have beenlocked in discussions with Manchester City over Brazilian winger Savinho, the BBC claims that Eze has now jumped to the top of their wishlist. The big question hanging over Spurs fans is whether the club can, or will, land both Savinho and Eze. There is no clarity yet on whether Daniel Levy will sanction two big-money arrivals in the same window. Still, Tottenham’s intent is clear: they want attacking firepower, and they want it fast.
Arsenal are also believed to be monitoring Eze closely. However, the Gunners are currently prioritising player exits before moving for fresh signings. Names such as Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson, and Fabio Vieira are all tipped to leave, potentially freeing up funds for a late swoop.
Since arriving at Selhurst Park from Queens Park Rangers in 2020 for £19.5 million, Eze has blossomed into one of the Premier League‘s most dynamic attackers. In 168 appearances for Palace, he’s netted 40 goals. His rapid rise earned him an England debut in 2023, and he has since collected 11 caps, featuring three times at Euro 2024.
Palace, for their part, are under no pressure to sell. Eze’s contract runs until summer 2027, giving them the upper hand in negotiations. Any club hoping to lure him away from the Eagles will have to pay a significant transfer fee, especially with the player at the peak of his powers. With Maddison out, Arsenal lurking, and Palace holding firm, the stage is set for Levy to take a decisive call as quickly as possible.
