Per The Sun, United legends Butt and Scholes are poised to launch a new podcast alongside ex-Top Gear host McGuinness. Butt and Scholes played together for years at Old Trafford, racking up 266 appearances together, for both the Red Devils and England.
The pair are both unlikely to hold back when it comes to United, given their ongoing struggles. Ruben Amorim’s side were thumped 3-0 by Manchester City at the weekend, and have won just one of their four games thus far this campaign.
Between them, Butt and Scholes have 17 Premier League titles, as well as six FA Cups, and three Champions League titles. They also notched a combined 105 England caps, although only Scholes stayed at the club for their entire career; Butt left in 2004 to join Newcastle, and also played for Birmingham City on loan and South China in 2010/11.
Scholes and Butt’s first podcast with McGuinness goes live on Monday. United fans are very likely to tune in.
