- Liga club faces Daegu next
The Barcelona squad are in Asia for a pre-season tour. The Blaugrana have already beaten Vissel Kobe 3-1 in Japan and FC Seoul 7-3 in the Korean capital and will now look ahead to their game on Monday against Daegu FC. Ahead of that fixture, some of the club’s star names, including Yamal, Robert Lewandowski and Alejandro Balde, got the chance to meet with ITZY, where the girl group joined the players to recreate some of their famous poses and allowed the footballers the opportunity to show off their own celebrations and dance moves.

Since Barcelona struck a sponsorship deal with Spotify, the club have become closely linked with a number of different music artists. Indeed, in recent years they have released special kits featuring the logos of Drake, Coldplay, Karol G, the Rolling Stones, Rosalía and Travis Scott. The sponsorship has provided huge, invaluable revenue for Barca and allowed them to expand their global brand, with ITZY the latest group to collaborate with the Liga giants.
After taking on Daegu FC, Barcelona will return to Europe and take on FC Como in the Joan Gamper Trophy – their final pre-season game before the Liga season returns. Their first match of the 2025-26 campaign is an away trip to Mallorca, with Barca looking to get off to a positive start as they aim to defend their crown.
