Mainoo, 20, proposed a temporary switch away from the Red Devils after struggling for game time under manager Ruben Amorim, according to Fabrizio Romano. Mainoo will be hoping to make an appearance when United take on rivals in the on September 14, following the conclusion of the upcoming international break. Amorim’s men then take on at Old Trafford on September 20.
