- Jackson moves to Germany
- Deal appeared to be dead
- Striker completes switch on deadline day
Chelsea have confirmed that Jackson has joined Bayern on loan. The deal appeared to be in jeopardy as the Blues refused to countenance his exit after Liam Delap’s injury but a new agreement has now been reached to see him move to Bavaria.
Jackson moves to Germany after scoring 30 goals in 81 games for the Blues. He will now bid to make an impact in Germany as Bayern chase another Bundesliga title, and depth to Harry Kane.
Jackson said: “I’m really happy to now be part of this great club. Bayern is one of the best clubs in the world. Everyone knows the names of the legends who’ve played here and knows that this club stands for the greatest success. I’ve got big goals and dreams here and will give all to help Bayern win further titles.”
Jackson could make his debut after the international break when Bayern play Hamburg in the Bundesliga on September 13.
