- Issues apology for dropping F-bomb
England‘s Lionesses have been celebrating their brilliant victory at Euro 2025 after making a triumphant return to the UK. The team enjoyed a reception at Downing Street on Monday and have since enjoyed a trophy parade through the streets of London that culminated in a party outside Buckingham Palace.

Kelly was among the players to address a packed crowd outside Buckingham Palace but let slip an X-rated outburst on live television. Presenter Alex Scott was forced to apologise on air, while Kelly has now taken to social media to say sorry after getting carried away by it all.
,
She posted on X: “Ooops. Emotions got the better of me. Sorry for the F bomb. Love CK.”
Kelly scored the winning penalty against Spain to secure a shoot-out victory for England. The Lionesses have now won all four of their penalty shootouts under manager Sarina Wiegma, while has netted the winning spot-kick in three of those four games.
Kelly and her team-mates will no doubts enjoy their celebrations for some time before taking a break ahead of the start of the new 2025-26 WSL season which is due to kick off in September.
