Lehmann has gotten to know the Girelli over the past season following her move to Juventus from . And it seems they are on good terms as the 26-year-old quickly took to social media to praise the veteran striker after her double earned a 2-1 quarter-final over Norway in Euro 2025 on Wednesday.

Girelli is a legend of Italian football, a status she further enhanced with her 60th and 61st goals for her country. The 35-year-old is now looking forward to a semi-final clash with either defending champions or next week.
