Football General Manager
- Rayan plays for Copenhagen, like Roony once did
- His contract expires before his 16th birthday
- Barcelona signed Roony Bardghji this summer
Barcelona recently signed 19-year-old Swedish winger Bardghji from Copenhagen, but Fabrizio Romano reports they are working on bringing in his younger brother, Rayan, who is currently playing for the Danish club. The 15-year-old’s contract is set to expire before his 16th birthday, making him a free agent soon.
The Spanish champions are doubling down on youth recruitment. Rayan, like his brother, is seen as a top prospect, with many clubs across Europe watching his development. Barcelona’s interest shows their intention to strengthen La Masia and secure long-term attacking talent early.
Rayan has drawn comparisons to Roony even before making his senior debut, and he’s already attracting interest from major clubs despite his age. Copenhagen are reluctant to lose another top youth talent to Barcelona after Roony’s exit.
Barcelona will monitor the situation closely and aim to strike before Rayan’s 16th birthday at the end of October. If a deal is completed, he could join the setup at La Masia.
