Tottenham chief Daniel Levy is looking to exploit his "good relationship" with Real Madrid to sign Rodrygo this summer. Spurs are the latest club to join the transfer race for the Brazilian alongside Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Arsenal. Rodrygo, though, will make a decision on his future only after a discussion with Real boss Xabi Alonso.

Spurs have been busy this summer, signing Mohammed Kudus from and making Mathys Tel’s loan move a permanent transfer. They have also been pushing to sign Morgan Gibbs-White from , although the transfer talks have now stalled amid a legal battle.

As the squad rebuilding continues, chairman Levy has now shifted his focus to star Rodrygo. AS reports that the British businessman is looking to exploit his “good relationship” with the Spanish giants to lower the Brazilian winger’s €90 million ($104m/£76m) price tag. The 24-year-old has attracted interest from top clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal and , however, Los Blancos have yet to receive a formal offer.

Rodrygo is currently enjoying a well-earned vacation in the U.S. and he will only take a final decision on his future at Santiago Bernabeu after holding a discussion with manager Xabi Alonso.

Alonso’s men will kick off their 2025-26 La Liga campaign on August 19 as they take on at home in their season opener, but it remains to be seen if Rodrygo will feature.
