- Rodrygo ignores fan on Arsenal query
- Linked with a move away from Madrid
- Real set huge price tag for Brazilian
Rodrygo chose not to respond to the fan’s query on his rumoured move to the Gunners this summer, while posing for a selfie in the US. The 24-year-old appeared in only three matches for Los Blancos in the Club World Cup and clocked just 92 minutes on the pitch.

There has been speculation over the Selecao star’s future at Santiago Bernabeu after struggling for minutes under new Madrid boss Xabi Alonso. The Spanish giants, however, have no urgency to sell the winger and have reportedly set a massive €100 million (£86m/$106m) price tag, according to COPE, and will not even entertain discussions unless that is met. Rodrygo’s current deal is valid until 2028 and has a €1 billion (£864m/$1.17bn) buyout clause.
Arsenal are not the only club who are ready to provide an exit route to the out-of-favour Madrid star. The Gunners are likely to face competition from European champions Paris Saint-Germain and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr.
