According to Gianluca Di Marzio Ndoye will earn €5 million (£4m/$6m) in wages, with Forest set to pay Bologna €42m (£36m/$48m) plus bonuses, including a resale clause worth up to €7m (£6m/$8m). Forest faced tough competition from Italian side Napoli but the English side’s financial proposal was more convincing for Ndoye.

Bologna will be making a significant profit on Ndoye after signing him from in 2023 for €10m (£9m/$12m). Ndoye rose to prominence by scoring the only goal in Bologna’s 1-0 victory over in the Coppa Italia final, their first major trophy in 51 years. Ndoye scored 11 goals and provided eight assists for Bologna in his two years at the club.

Ndoye has featured on both wings throughout his time at Bologna and was occasionally used during the centre, too. He was a regular starter for the side when fit and featured heavily in their campaign.
