Reynolds was back at Wrexham on Saturday for the clash with West Brom as the Welsh side played their first home game of the 2025-26 season. After a summer of intense spending to bolster the squad, Reynolds was able to meet the team’s new arrivals in person for the first time.

سابق و star Coady is one of a host of new arrivals along with the likes of Kieffer Moore, Nathan Broadhead and Liberato Cacace. The defender has now opened up on his meeting with Reynolds and how he thinks the actor has the attributes needed to play alongside him in the backline.

“He said ‘welcome to the club, it’s so good to have you here’ and different things, and then I got a WhatsApp off an American number, so I thought ‘that’s a bit strange’. I was sat on the couch with my missus, and it was a video off Ryan. I was really, really starstruck. Really starstruck.

“He was just welcoming me to the club and how good it is to have me at the club, and what we want to do and how we want to go forward, and then obviously meeting him for the first time… he’s quite a big fella as well.

“I said he could play centre-half with me, and he said he’s never played football in his life. A really, really lovely man, what he’s done for Wrexham, what Rob has done for Wrexham, what the whole staff have done for Wrexham is incredible.”

Reynolds will no doubt be an avid onlooker again on Saturday when Wrexham go on search of their first points of the season at home to .
