Lingard enjoyed an eye-catching July in South Korea with FC Seoul. The 32-year-old scored two goals in four games, was named Man of the Match twice and also picked up a Player of the Week award. Lingard’s impressive form means he has now won the division’s Player of the Month prize for the first time since moving to FC Seoul in February 2024.
Lingard has said he has found happiness at FC Seoul in South Korea after being released by نوتنغهام فورست. The former Red Devil’s contract at the club is due to expire in November,althoughFC Seoulhave an option to extend his deal by a further 12 months, and he has admitted he could be tempted back to إنجلترا.
Lingard may have been impressing for FC Seoul but his team still sit some 23 points behind league leaders Jeonbuk and down in fifth place in the standings.
Lingard will be hoping to maintain his fine form when FC Seoul return to action on Sunday against Ulsan.
