- Napoli initiate talks with Hojlund
- Hojlund is ready to join Napoli
- ميلان are also interested in Man Utd outcast
وفق فابريزيو رومانو Napoli have had positive talks with Hojlund’s representatives as the player is willing to make a move back to إيطاليا. The striker, however, has laid down certain conditions, which include guarantees of his staying at the club on a long-term basis and not just a mere loan move. Talks are ongoing between Napoli and متحد over a possible transfer now, as the Red Devils are ready to offload the out-of-favour forward.
On Tuesday, كورييري ديلو سبورت had reported that United are open to sending the 22-year-old striker out on loan, with a fee of €5–6 million up front and a buy option in the €35–40 million (£30-£34.5m/$40-$47m) range. Other than the Italian champions, AC Milan are also interested in signing Hojlund.
The Red Devils handed Hojlund a long-term contract until 2028, while signing him from أتالانتا in 2023, with an option for an extra year, but his time in إنجلترا has been underwhelming. The striker managed just 10 goals across 52 games last season, leaving many to question whether he has what it takes to succeed at Old Trafford.
After a disappointing loss in their season opener against أرسنال at home, Amorim’s men will aim to bounce back this weekend as they take on فولهام يوم الأحد.
