goalkeeper Szczesny showed off a dramatic new look on Instagram, revealing freshly bleached blonde hair. In his story caption, he playfully wrote: “We all make mistakes,” tagging fellow Barca stars Lewandowski, Yamal and Gavi, all of whom have embraced the same hairstyle.

Yamal has been sporting blonde hair for some time and team-mate Gavi revealed his bleached hairstyle last week. The pair were followed by Lewandowski, who unveiled his new blonde look on Thursday with the caption: “New season, new hair, same goals.”

Later that day, Szczesny joined the gang when he posted a selfie. On Friday morning, though, he posted a new picture with jet-black hair, admitting his wife made him dye it again.

Shortly afterwards, he posted another story revealing he had shaved his hair off completely. “She didn’t like the dark either. Only one solution,” he wrote.

Yamal could not ignore the dig, though, as he gave his approval of the Polish veteran’s dye job, but the teenager still believes he has the best look of the bunch.

“Top two after me, not bad,” he wrote in an Instagram story.

Szczesny recently extended his contract with the Catalan giants until 2027 and is currently enjoying his final days off in before returning to training. The 2025/26 season is expected to be fiercely competitive, particularly for the starting goalkeeper spot. His decision to join the blonde hair trend popularized last year by Dani Olmo adds a light-hearted touch. The 36-year-old’s humorous post not only keeps spirits high but also highlights the strong camaraderie within the squad.

The Polish international is set to return to the Ciutat Esportiva for pre-season training by Sunday. With a fresh look and new energy, he’ll compete for the No.1 spot with Joan Garcia, while fans wait to see if more Barcelona stars go blonde before the season kicks off.
