Football Factory and EastEnders actor Dyer walked his daughter down the aisle as she tied the knot with West Ham captain Jarrod Bowen. Danny is a passionate Hammers supporter and is delighted to have welcomed a modern day legend into his circle of trust.
Dyer and Bowen exchanged vows at a lavish ceremony attended by family and friends. They then jetted off for a short honeymoon in Italy, which was dampened slightly by inclement weather, and have made enough happy memories to last a lifetime.
Danny has previously claimed to be “more in love” with Bowen than Dani, with great amusement being taken from seeing the West Ham forward display unexpected nerves on his wedding day.
Danny has now told Heart Breakfast with Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden of making history in the dad department: “I was in pieces. The best day of my life. Honestly, it was just so beautiful. n
“I managed, you know, to give my daughter away to the man of my dreams – I don’t think that’s ever happened in the history of any father giving away their daughter! So, it was the perfect day. Let me tell you that now, it was just beautiful.”
Bowen is back in pre-season training at West Ham ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign. He will, having netted 34 goals across the last two seasons, be hoping to do enough to earn a place in England‘s squad next summer’s World Cup.
