According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern have made enquiries about Jackson, who is rated at €65 million (£56m) by Chelsea. He adds that Newcastle are ‘seriously interested’ as they look to find a potential replacement for wantaway striker Alexander Isak.

Although the Senegalese international reportedly wants to stay at Stamford Bridge, head coach Enzo Maresca has not ruled out his sale this summer.
