- ريكسهام interested in رين‘ James
- Will face competition from Italy
- James joined Rennes from برمنغهام الصيف الماضي
وفق ليكيب Wrexham have enquired about the availability of Welsh midfielder الأردن James as they look to sign the Rennes star for a fee in the region of €5 million (£4.3m/$5.8m). The Red Dragons, however, will face competition from الدوري الإيطالي club Parma, who want the player on loan this season with an option to buy.
James moved to Rennes last summer from Birmingham City. Before his transfer to the الدوري الفرنسي 1, the 21-year-old had attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, although he eventually headed to فرنسا. He appeared in 25 matches across all competitions last season, where he scored one goal.
James was an unused substitute in Rennes’ season opener against مرسيليا, where they defeated Mason Greenwood and his colleagues 1-0.
Phil Parkinson’s side will be back in action in the بطولة this Saturday as they take on Sheffield Wednesday at home.
