- Wrexham want الأردن James
- Prepared to outbid Parma and إيبسويتش
- 21-year-old joined from برمنغهام الصيف الماضي
وفقا للتقارير الواردة من الشمس Wrexham are set to outbid both Italian giants Parma and بطولة rivals Ipswich for the 21-year-old, who signed for Rennes for £4million ($5.4m) from Birmingham City last summer but may already depart the Ligue 1 side. Wrexham were previously reported as having opened negotiations over the signing of James earlier this week.
Wrexham and superstar owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney will hope that the pull of starring for a historic Welsh club on its way to the top will be enough to convince 20-cap international James of the move, while Rennes will sell to the highest bidder. Fellow ويلز stars Nathan Broadhead, Kieffer Moore and Danny Ward have already made the move this summer and the 2004-born ace may see Wrexham as an exciting project to be a part of.
James came through Birmingham’s academy and spent nine years at the club, making 105 first-team appearances before departing on relegation to الدوري الأول last summer. It would be ironic if the midfielder were to sign for Blues’ fellow newly-promoted high spenders in Wrexham just a year later.
Wrexham are yet to win on their return to the second tier, after شيفيلد وينزداي earnt a point from 2-0 down to follow up single-goal defeats to ساوثهامبتون and West Brom. An EFL Cup tie with بريستون is up next, before a league clash with ميلوول offers a final chance to get some points on the board ahead of the international break. It has not been an easy start but with new signings bedding in, fans will hope the best is yet to come.
