According to Leeds United News Muniz is Leeds’ number one target, while Taremi and Norwich City’s Josh Sargent are also options being discussed internally. However, the Whites face competition from Atalanta for the Fulham man.
After two straight seasons of the three promoted Championship teams going straight back down from the Premier League, Leeds face a big task to buck that trend in the 2025-26 campaign. Whites boss Daniel Farke has admitted his team are “not ready for Premier League level” offensively and urged the club to “add some quality” in attack. Whether they can land Taremi or Muniz remains to be seen and even if they did sign, there is no guarantee they will keep them up, either.
Taremi struggled in his first season at Inter following his 2024 switch from FC Porto. The 33-year-old scored just three goals in 43 matches; a stark contrast from his 91 goals in 182 games for the Portuguese giants. Muniz, on the other hand, has 26 goals in 97 outings for Fulham.
Time is running out for Leeds to land any of their top transfer targets as the summer window shuts in less than three weeks. While the Championship winners have strengthened in midfield and at the back, their attack still arguably needs more firepower.
