The 2025 Ballon d’Or ceremony will see more prizes handed out than ever before, with top-performing goalkeepers from across the men’s and women’s game being recognised for the first time.
Leading lights from the Premier League, La Liga, Ligue 1, Champions League, WSL and NWSL have been included on two star-studded shortlists that include international pedigree aplenty.

The glitzy Ballon d’Or ceremony will take place on Monday September 22, 2025 at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris. UEFA has once again partnered with Groupe Amaury and L’Equipe as leading performers from across the globe see their remarkable achievements acknowledged.
