- Grealish lighting up Merseyside
- Joined the club on loan from Manchester City
- Jets off to Sweden
PerThe Sun, Grealish headed to Sweden at the start of the international break, after settling into life at Everton. The Englishman was not included in Thomas Tuchel’s squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Serbia, but he has four assists in just two games on Merseyside after arriving on loan with an option to buy.
As a result of his fine start, Grealish appears to have deemed himself worthy of a holiday, and he has headed to an Irish pub in Stockholm with friends. According to the man who served him, Mattias Mete, the winger spent hours in the Auld Dub, and watched the clash between Liverpool and Arsenal.
Mete told the newspaper: “He was here to visit. It was a bit shocking to see him come in. You saw him play on Saturday, and then all of a sudden he appeared here out of nowhere.
“They were here for quite a long time. They were here until closing time, so it was a few hours.
“They were here from 4pm, and stayed until 10-11pm approximately. They watched the match between Liverpool and Arsenal. He liked the pub! He was happy, and had a good time. We just buzzed a little, and I took a picture [with him].
“You didn’t want to disturb them too much, and I was working at the same time. They took it easy, and enjoyed the evening. They ate their food and liked the atmosphere, so that was good.”
Everton play Aston Villa after the international break as Grealish looks to continue his renaissance.
