- Juventus set deadline of 15 days to sell Vlahovic
- Newcaslte and Barcelona interested in the striker
- Italians desperate to sell due to his contract
According to Gazzetta dello Sport Juventus have given Vlahovic 15 days to find a solution, with Newcastle and Barcelona reportedly showing interest. However, his agent believes staying in Italy is best, citing support from the coach and team-mates despite the striker being booed by fans in a pre-season match.
Juventus general manager Damien Comolli is looking to re-construct Juventus’ attack and aims to sell Vlahovic to raise funds for other transfers. AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri was interested in a reunion with Vlahovic but the player communicated to the management that he was ready to stay at the club for the remainder of his contract despite being the risk of being sidelined for the season. Juventus offered Vlahovic to Newcastle in an all player swap for Sandro Tonali but it was rejected. Despite completing the signing of Jonathan David on a free transfer, Juventus would like to signRandal Kolo Muani as he is a specific request from coach Igor Tudor in attack.
Vlahovic and Kolo Muani are not the only transfer issues that Juventus face. They have agreed personal terms with Brighton midfielder Matt O’Riley but must sell Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz before they can make a move.
Juventus hope Vlahovic reconsiders and departs to bring in much-needed funds, while the striker focuses on making the best choice for his future.
